I've decided to come back to dA-- as it is a great way to organize my photographs--all while getting some feedback. A few things have changed since my last journal entry.  I graduated last year with my Bachelors in Biology (with honors), and now I'm gearing up for a big move down to Athens (University of Georgia) for my Masters>PhD in Agricultural Entomology.  My interest in insects has gone a bit wild, and I'm always collecting or photographing these beautiful creatures when I get the chance.  My hubby laughs at me because our freezer is full of dead insects.  I think I may need my own freezer for my specimens. Summer is approaching!! And it's been forever-and-a-day since I've posted journal entries on dA. As usual, I went through another depressive, uninspired phase...but those who truly give a crap will still be here when I return, right? So, I'm being a bit more daring, working on self-portraits. I have always felt uncomfortable in front of the camera...hiding behind the lens for the longest time. However, after taking a summer speech class, I felt the urge to do a few self-portraits!!
